What is RepairSmith?
RepairSmith brings quality service, at an upfront price, direct to customers and eliminates inconvenience and stress for all things car repair.
RepairSmith exits Dec. 12, 2022 via AutoNation acquisition for $190M.
Branding
I came up with the name RepairSmith by doing some wordplay combining repair (what we do) and smith (to indicate expertise, e.g. blacksmith). Using both qual and quant testing, I was able to validate the name with valuable data and evidence.
Product Design
The RepairSmith product suite is built with the full lifecycle of the customer journey in mind.
In addition to the customer facing product—repairsmith.com—there are also internal products used by operations, technicians, and sales teams. I was responsible for all aspects of product design (UX/UI) and will highlight some of these products below.
